A carbon footprint is “the total set of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions caused directly and indirectly by an individual, organization, event or product” (UK Carbon Trust 2008). An individual, product, or organisation's carbon footprint can be measured by undertaking a GHG emissions assessment or Life Cycle Analysis (LCA). Once the size of a carbon footprint is known, a strategy can be devised to reduce it.

ZORK commissioned Provisor to undertake a complete Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) of our operations to determine the carbon footprint of our closures so you can make realistic assessment on which closure best suits your wine.

In brief, the Carbon Footprint of ZORK closures are comparable with many other closures on the market and in some cases offer a significantly reduced impact on the environment.
