What information does ZORK collect and how do you use it?
The personal details we collect include your name, company, mailing and delivery address, contact telephone numbers and e-mail address. Collecting these details in full allows us to accurately process your queries, fulfil your orders, and if requested, send you our regular ZORKtalk newsletter via email.
These details are sourced either from the website forms you fill in, over the telephone or in person by one of the ZORK team.
It is your legal right to know exactly what personal information of yours we hold. Any of your details that we hold are available for your personal inspection by contacting us either via telephone or in writing. To protect the privacy of Customers, Friends and Members, our staff will verify personal details before providing any information over the telephone.
How does ZORK protect customer information?
When you place orders or access your account information on the web site, we offer the use of a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Confidential information, such as your address and order history, is not stored on the web server but on ZORKs own database, which is protected against unauthorised access.
How does ZORK store my information?
All your personal details are stored in a single, secure database on our premises. Access is controlled and limited to our staff who manage orders, deliveries and accounts
How does ZORK manage and update my details?
We make every effort to keep Members' details accurate and up to date. If we have trouble delivering information/goods to you, we may call you direct to ensure we have correct contact details for you. Information is immediately updated if errors or changes are brought to our attention, which is why we recommend that you:
- Let us know straight away if you find errors in your personal information
- Keep us informed of changes to such personal information as your name, address or telephone number.
Will ZORK disclose the information it collects to outside parties?
ZORK does not share, sell, trade or rent your personal information with anyone, except as required to arrange delivery of goods and services. For example, address details may be provided to our courier service. In such cases, information is protected by legally binding confidentiality agreements with each supplier.
How do I remove my details from ZORK?
If you would like to be removed from the ZORK newsletter email listing you can either click the unsubscribe option on any of the emails, or you can unsubscribe via the ZORK member page of the website.
If you no longer require the services of ZORK and would like to be removed from our database you can contact us by telephone and request the removal of your information.
